The Company is a market leader in providing bioprocessing single-use media, sera, buffers and process liquids solutions to global biopharma customers.
The Business Challenge
The Company wanted to integrate non-numerical data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights regarding its customers” current and future buying behavior, which was directly correlated to the biologics clinical pipeline. The project required integration with the Company’s CRM and a third-party resource that provided multiple sets of information regarding the global drug and biologic market. The information contained within the database was deep but without the right filters, could potentially become meaningless.
The Company needed to be able to interpret the data from the third-party resource and integrate the information with the Company’s pipeline to generate meaningful insights regarding where to play in the global biologics marketplace as well as to understand how to respond to shifts in the clinical pipeline towards or away from certain molecule types (ie. proteins, vaccines, antibodies, cell therapy, gene therapy, etc).
