The Business Challenge
The Company had been servicing both the US and European markets – largely through a large distribution partner. Over time, as the company grew, it began to make investments in direct sales personnel.
When the firm started to see significant positive response in Europe after the hiring of 1 direct sales person – they reached out to MKA Insights in an effort to better understand what kinds of focused investments would allow them to continue this trajectory (if not continue to accelerate it).

Our Solution
As with all of our approaches, we provided the Client with information on the business opportunities in the region – along with potential challenges and risks. Given the information, we jointly worked to define a plan of action that would serve as the European Market Playbook and then began to execute against it.
This plan was focused on expanding the business footprint through headcount additions, office locations, logistics/warehouse support, customer service, banking, legal/liability and tax implications.
This playbook was based on the dynamic environment prior to Brexit and required flexibility in the approach to ensure appropriate market coverage.
